Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy is version 2026-09-11-v2 and is effective as of 11 September 2026. It describes the consent controls and storage currently implemented for VolteraForge websites and application experiences.

Cookies are small values stored by your browser and sent back to the website they belong to. Local storage keeps values on your device between visits. Session storage keeps values for a browser tab session. These technologies can support requested services or remember optional preferences.

Necessary technologies support authentication, security, and services you request. Optional Preferences, Analytics, and Marketing remain off until you choose them.

The consent notice provides Accept all, Reject optional, and Customize. Cookie Settings lets you change or withdraw optional choices at any time without signing you out or interrupting setup.

Choices apply to this browser on this website, not every device or subdomain. The public website and application may ask separately. We remember the choice for up to 180 days, then ask again. Clearing or blocking cookies, or a material change to the consent policy version, can also cause the notice to return.

Account session cookies keep contractor and customer sign-ins separate. Support-access and elevated-authentication cookies limit authorized support and sensitive administrative sessions. These are first-party, protected session cookies and are not optional advertising technologies.

A first-party consent cookie stores only category choices, policy version, and the time of your choice. It contains no account identifier or advertising identifier. On HTTPS it uses Secure, SameSite=Lax, and a host-only scope. Browser code reads it to apply your settings; it is not an authentication credential.

When you use Drawing Chat Beta, session storage can retain your draft and submission or scrolling state for the requested conversation in that browser tab. It is not used to track public-site visitors.

Contractor and customer session cookies last up to seven days unless cleared earlier. Elevated administrative authentication lasts up to ten minutes. Support-access cookies expire with the authorized support session. The consent choice lasts up to 180 days. Saved theme data has no automatic storage expiry, but is removed when preference consent is withdrawn or expires and the site next checks it. Drawing Chat session storage normally ends when the tab session ends; browser session restoration can extend that session.

Preferences: with permission, local storage remembers your light or dark display setting. Without permission, you can still change the display for the current page session. Withdrawing permission removes the saved theme; it does not sign you out.

Analytics: no optional visitor analytics integration is currently enabled. Marketing: no advertising pixels or campaign trackers are currently enabled. Selecting these categories does not itself install a provider. Any future optional integration requires a separate reviewed implementation and an updated notice where its purposes change.

Limited browser error reports may be sent through a sanitized reporting path to support reliability and security. This reporting does not use analytics cookies, visitor identifiers, or session replay. Server-side forwarding to an error-monitoring provider occurs only when that provider is enabled for the service. See the Privacy Policy for processing information.

The public marketing pages do not embed Stripe checkout scripts. If you deliberately enter a supported subscription checkout or billing portal, the external payment provider may use its own necessary security technologies and policies. These settings do not control another website's cookies. VolteraForge does not claim contractor customer-payment collection through Stripe.

Use Cookie Settings for optional categories, or your browser settings to view and remove stored data. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent sign-in or session security from working. If a choice cannot be saved, optional features remain off for the current page; check browser settings before reloading.
